The Catholic Community Center provides a caring Christian presence to the people in the Benton Harbor area. Its community outreach services provide information, personal support and assistance with utilities, food, and medicines.

Services Provided:

We provide services to not only Berrien County residents, but outlying areas as well, including Van Buren, Cass and Barry counties. For services outside of these areas, please contact our main office, Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo at (269) 381-9800. 


Utility Assistance:

We provide support for home heating (electric and gas) through the Michigan Energy Assistance Program (MEAP) from October thru April. Assistance is available Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 3:00pm by appointment only.


Food Assistance:

The food pantry will be available every Thursday from 9:00am - 11:00am by appointment only. You must register by calling 211. Recipients will be limited to 2 visits per month. 


Ark Services for Youth are available for youth ages 10-21 upon request.
